Here’s how this works.

1: Go through your closet and determine what clothing you want to get rid of.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2: Decide what items you want to sell (consign) or donate. 

(a)You want to present your items in the best manner possible (before your scheduled appointment).

(b) be sure to launder or dry clean your items; either iron or steam them based on the designer specifications.

 

 

3: Find a space in your home or office where there is good lighting, and a place to hang or display the items.

4: During the session, the Stylist will ask you to show closeups of all items and let her know what the items are made of, what they originally cost, how old (or new) they are, if they’ve been worn (and how often) and if there are any stains, tears, rips or damage to the items.

After the Stylist completes her evaluation, she will tell you which items will be accepted by DDDR. Then she will set a price for each item for sale (consignment). If you agree, she’ll have you submit photos of the items to be included in your DressingRoom and what items to be donated dropped off to your local Red Cross, Good Will, Dress for Success, Shelter etc.,

Next after you submit the photos, your Stylist will create a listing for each of your items and create your DressingRoom.  We assign one of our Brand Divas to your DressingRoom.  The Brand Diva assigned will best define your size and body type. The best sellers are pictures with someone wearing the item so viewers can get an idea of what it would look like. If you can’t photograph with yourself or a person, make sure it’s hanging on a nice hanger or mannequin, in good lighting and without any distractions in the background. Try avoiding taking photos on the floor, tables, the bed or any other furniture if you can help it. You should submit a front, back and close up view. If the item has detail or embellishment, take a close up of that.

You have two choices at this point. You can do nothing but keep the items neatly stored at your own home until they sell, then you will ship the items to the customer. Or you can opt to mail the items directly to us for storage and shipping. Visit our how to consign page for detail information. Either way, your account is credited one week after the recipient confirms delivery of the item(s) and has a chance to inspect and try on the garment in case we have to refund or exchange. This is why it’s vital to be as specific and clear in product descriptions as possible.

 

After your item is sold, you will receive your payout via your Paypal account which we will include the shipping cost if we have received your shipping receipt.

What comes next?

After the initial process of developing your optimal wardrobe is complete, Diva D is available for ongoing consultation and personal shopping services, as well as assisting you with special occasion dressing or travel wardrobe planning, either for business or vacation.

 

How much does fashion styling cost?
You will discover that Diva D's  fashion stylist service pays for itself by creating a new level of self-confidence which invites greater personal and professional success. Plus, it means no more money wasted buying clothes that don't fit and you never wear! Due to her depth of experience, Diva D knows how to help you tailor an updated wardrobe for a reasonable out-of-pocket expense. 

Initial consultation: $50 (up to 1 hour)
2hr Closet check-up: $150
2hr Personal styling: $150  
Personal shopping for client: $25 per hour
Personal shopping with client: $50 per hour
Dressing for special occasions, events: $125  for 2hr
Wardrobe photo shoot: $75 per hour
